Collection guide

In order to best guide you and help you personalize your invitations, this collection guide allows you to discover our selection of paper styles, envelope colors, our calligraphic fonts as well as a wide range of embellishment options.

The Semi-custom Process

1. Order

For semi-custom orders you can order directly on our website. You have the choice: opt for a complete suite or by individual elements. We recommend ordering extras to prevent unforeseen events. Then, add the embellishments of your choice. The selection of designs and colors of embellishments will be collected during the next step of your order. Bespoke invitation process is different. Please refer to the relevant process here.

2. Collection

When your purchase has been made, we will respond to you by email within 2 working days maximum. The email will include the contract to be signed as well as a form to collect the wording and the information needed to prepare the proof (such as colors, designs...).

3. Proofing & Revision

After collecting all the information, we will create the proof with your details and send it to you for revisions. You can expect to receive your realistic proof within 10 days maximum. The semi-custom collection includes three proofs with two rounds of revisions. Each additional revision will incur a fee. See semi-custom FAQs.

4. Production & Delivery

When proofing is officially approved, the production of your order will begin. Impressions will be made, embellishments added and your suite will be sealed. The production time takes approximately four to six weeks depending on the printing methods chosen but also on the type/number of embellishments added. Your order is finally sent directly to your guests or to you if you request it.

Paper types

300 gsm Cut edged paper

Italian linen creative cardstock with a softly textured finish. Ideal for digital printing. Available in white only.

350 gsm Cut edged paper

Thicker italian superior cut edged white card. Ideal for letterpress & foil printing. Available in white only.

350 gsm Handmade paper

A beautiful fluffy and naturally deckled edges 100 percent cotton handmade paper. Our favorite paper for letterpress printing. Available in different colors on request.

We offer higher grammages as well as unique and creative paper finishes for bespoke invitations only.

Printing methods

Digital printing

Digital printing is ideal on our 300 gsm linen paper. This printing technique provides a smooth and flat finish. It also offers a great palette of vibrant and intense colors. White digital printing is also available on dark paper and vellum.

Letterpress printing

Do you like to feel the depth of an impression under your fingers? Letterpress printing is for you. Your design is pressed into the paper using a printing press. Letterpress printing is ideal on our 350 gsm cardstock or handmade papers.

Foil printing

Foil printing is the same process as letterpress printing. However, it is hot pressed to lay down a metal foil on paper for a metallic finish. Foil printing is available on our 350gsm cardstock and handmade paper.

Ink colors

Ink colors are vast and can be chosen as you wish. Here is a selection of our favorites to help you choose. Note that white ink is only available for digital printing on dark paper.
